Buried: Origin­al­ly in Moor­fields Cha­pel, Lon­don. Se­ven­teen years lat­er, his re­mains were moved to Dres­den, Ger­ma­ny.

Biography

Carl was the son of Franz An­ton von We­ber.

He was ham­pered by a con­ge­ni­tal hip prob­lem that gave him a per­ma­nent limp.

He be­gan mu­sic les­sons with his fa­ther at age three. He al­so had les­sons from Mi­chael Hay­dn, and be­gan pub­lish­ing his own fu­ghet­tas at age 10. As he ma­tured, he be­gan writ­ing op­eras, and tour­ing as a pi­an­ist in Ger­ma­ny.
