Introduction

Biography

George was the son of mer­chant and ship own­er Sir Ro­bert Wig­ram, and hus­band of Ca­ther­ine Ma­ria Par­nell. His bro­ther James became a Vice-Chan­cel­lor, and his bro­ther Jo­seph was Bi­shop of Ro­ches­ter.

George was as­so­ci­ated with the Ply­mouth Breth­ren, and was a friend of John Nel­son Dar­by.
