Biography

Earl was the son of Eph­ra­im G. Wo­les­la­gel and Ida L. Roy­er, and hus­band of Phyl­lis Wood­all.

A 1909 gra­du­ate of the Moo­dy Bible In­sti­tute, Chi­ca­go, Il­li­nois, he des­cribed him­self as a tra­vel­ing or­gan­iz­er of ev­an­gel­ist choirs, re­hears­ing lo­cal choirs for re­viv­al meet­ings.

Based in Ashe­ville, North Ca­ro­li­na (as of 1916), he fo­cused his ef­forts in the area from South Ca­ro­li­na to New Mex­ico.
