Born: June 1855, Newark, New Jersey.
Yatman joined the Newark, New Jersey, Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church in 1883, and was recognized as a traveling preacher.
In August 1901 he preached what became known as the Doll
sermon to an audience of 3,000 in the Young People’s Temple in Ocean Grove, New Jersey.
He was living in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in 1900 and 1920.
