God, in joy we gather, giving thanks for marriage,
Witnessing the love between this woman and this man.
We with prayers surround them, asking now your blessing:
Strengthen their love, Lord, by your loving hand.
Christ, you blessed a wedding when you went to Cana;
Through your sacrificial love you show us how to live.
Look upon this couple, deepen their commitments;
As you forgive us, teach them to forgive.
Fill them with your Spirit, give them gifts for living:
Faith, so they will trust you as their strength in all they do,
Hope, for you walk with them in their life together,
Love for each other, love for serving you.
