Lyrics

In the hall of judgment, see the Savior stand,
Deadly pow’rs of darkness wait on every hand;
See the guarding sentry, hear the cruel word—
Crucify Him! Crucify your king and Lord.

Refrain

Hail Him, crown Him
King of kings. Ye nations rise,
Join the angels’ songs of praise
That fill the skies.

Oh, on Calvary’s brow, behold the Crucified;
See the cruel cross, the bleeding hands and side;
Oh, the grief and pain that paid the price of sin!
Oh, the wondrous love that sought the world to win.

Refrain

See within the shadows gleam of angel wings,
Hear the heav’nly word that thro’ the silence rings;
Look within the tomb; behold the Savior rise,
Hail the risen One, the King of earth and skies.
