In the Ad­vent light, O Sav­ior,
I am liv­ing day by day;
Waiting, work­ing, watch­ing ev­er,
Knowing Thou art on Thy way.

Separated un­to Je­sus,
Loosed from all the world be­side;
Blinded by the Ad­vent glo­ry,
