Lyrics

Jesus, Sun of gladness,
Fountain Thou of grace;
Cure for every sadness,
Turn to me Thy face;
Look in mercy tender
On Thy child today,
Help and solace render,
Be my staff and stay.

Purge me, O my Savior,
By Thy precious blood;
Teach me true behavior,
O my highest God;
Every day and hour
Suffer me to see,
Lord, the cleansing power
Of Thy death for me.

Lord, my sole desire
Is to serve Thee well,
And I would aspire
E’er with Thee to dwell.
Joyous praise be given
To Thy name, O Lord,
Who are both in Heaven
And on earth adored.
