This hymn was inspired by Andrew Brunson’s hymn, You Are Worthy of My All, composed while being held falsely as a political prisoner while serving as a missionary to Turkey. He is a fellow alumnus of Wheaton College.

I am told that the words of his hymn are helping to keep his faith in God alive as he faces a host of injustices.

Lyrics

Lord, You alone are worthy,
So worthy of all my praises!
You alone are worthy
Of all honor and all glory,
You alone are worthy!
And I worship You alone,
O God of my salvation!

You’re my Blessèd Redeemer,
My Savior and my Lord!
I worship You, and You alone,
Holy Word of Truth and Life!
I worship You alone,
For You alone are worthy,
To You I owe my all!
