Biography

A tail­or’s son, Joel was the hus­band of Wil­hel­mi­na Gus­ta­va Wid­man.

He worked as an up­hol­ster­er and a song writ­er.

Works

Blomquist wrote hun­dreds of lyr­ics and me­lo­dies, and ed­it­ed the mu­sic ma­ga­zine Frids­rös­ten (1884–86).
