Biography

Davies was the son of John Whit­ridge Da­vies and Su­san Gre­go­ry.

He played the or­gan at the Tem­ple Church in Lon­don, and was a com­pos­er, and mus­ic­al di­rect­or at the Uni­ver­si­ty of Wales.

Davies was known for his ora­to­rios and cho­ral suites.
