Biography

Frederic was the son of Bap­tist min­is­ter Jo­seph Goad­by, and bro­ther of Tho­mas Goad­by.

He at­tend­ed the Lough­bo­rough Gram­mar School, Re­gent’s Park Col­lege, and Lon­don Uni­ver­si­ty (MA 1868).

He be­came pas­tor of the Bap­tist church in Blunt­ish­am, Hunt­ing­don­shire, in 1868, and pas­tor in Wat­ford in 1876.
