Biography

Frank was the son of Ro­bert Jones Leh­man and Lou­isa We­ber, and hus­band of Cla­ra Bi­shop (mar­ried on his birth­day, June 21, 1882).

He worked for Heppe’s Pia­no Com­pa­ny in Phi­la­del­phia for 35 years, start­ing in the late 1870s.

Early in life he be­came or­gan­ist and choir­mas­ter at the Se­cond Mo­ra­vi­an Church in Phi­la­del­phia. He al­so taught Sun­day School there.
