Biography

Lotta was the daugh­ter of Ro­bert Aman­thus White and An­na Lou­isa Bo­len­der.

After gra­du­at­ing from col­lege, she taught in pub­lic schools for a few years.

She ev­en­tu­al­ly moved in­to the re­li­gious field, teach­ing Sun­day school, serv­ing as coun­ty or­gan­iz­er for the Chris­tian En­dea­vor Un­ion, and work­ing in mis­sions in New York Ci­ty and Phi­la­del­phia, Penn­syl­van­ia.

She al­so stu­died at Moo­dy Bi­ble In­sti­tute in Chi­ca­go, Il­li­nois.
