There remaineth…a rest to the people of God.

There’s a beautiful home
For the children of God,
Where no trial will ever molest;
When the oft weary pathway
Of time has been trod,
In the mansions above will come rest.
Refrain
By the river of life
With the blest we will roam,
And rejoice evermore,
In that beautiful home.
Oh! how sweet it will be
In the city above,
Which no evil can enter for aye,
With our Savior and those
He redeems by His love,
To abide with all grief passed away!
Refrain
While on earth we shall stay,
Let us ever be true
Unto Jesus and turn from all wrong;
Then that beautiful home
Soon with rapture we’ll view,
And take part in the heavenly song.
