Riding on comes the King of the lowly,
To the city of David so fair;
His disciples are shouting Hosanna!
Waving palm branches in the air;
The people are asking in wonder,
Who cometh?
The multitude sing,
This is Jesus, the Nazarene Teacher,
This is Jesus, the Prophet King.
Riding on comes the King in His glory,
But the people still ask, Who is this?
Let us give Him our fullest allegiance,
Nor betray with a traitor’s kiss.
Our lives tell the worth of our message,
Tho’ lips tell the message we bring:
Love for Jesus, the Nazarene Teacher,
Love for Jesus, the Prophet King.
