If you know where to get a good photo of Holme (head & shoulders, at least 200×300 pixels),
’Tis good, beyond all other good,
To daily live in prayer,
To rear an altar to our God,
And meet rejoicing there.
No nobler, no more cheering sight
In this dark world we see
Than when a household all unite
In fervent piety.
The Christian’s heart is Jesus’ throne,
His home is Jesus’, too,
He is not left an hour alone,
But still in Jesus’ view.
Sweet home where fellowship divine
The soul with grace supplies,
Such home, O God, be ever mine,
And mine such hallowed joys.
