Biography

Hogue was the son of Tho­mas Hogue and Sar­ah Car­pen­ter, and hus­band of Em­ma Lu­el­la Hogue.

He served as a bi­shop of the Free Me­tho­dist Church, and found­ed Green­ville Col­lege, Il­li­nois.
